Welcome!

Let's get started and get to work! Last term we had a brief and light introduction to Literature in which we explored the basic terms and concepts for the study of Literature as a discipline. Now, we intend to use those tools to read, appreciate, interpret, and analyse American Authors and their works in Prose, Poetry and Drama.
We hope you will all do your best!!!

“I still can have everything”, she said.
“I dont understand you”......... he said.
“ I understand, I care myself and I can have the world, it is not necessary”, she said.
“You know I love you and I don’t want you to do anything if you don’t want to”..........he said.
“You say you love me but also you say it is just a simple oparation, I am confused”...........she said.
“You don’t have to if you don’t want to......just I think it is the best for us, it is the way to get the world, to go everywhere”.......he said.
“We will get the world, we will see”, she said looking at the big hills.
“The train is coming”, the woman said.
They heared the traditional sound of trains when arriving.
Then they left the table under the shade and went to the train.
“I will take the bags into the train.....please get in quickly”, he said.
Jig was looking at the hills.
“Get in quickly......the train is leaving”, he said.
“We will have the world”, putting her hands on her belly, “we will see”, she said.
    “Jig............Jig!”, he shouted.
“You can have the world too, just accept it please”, she said looking at his eyes.....
The train left the station with the American in...Jig continued looking at the hills and smiling at them.
